For my crohn’s disease, there doesn’t seem to be any specific foods that irritate, or even that specifically soothe. Well, no.. I can’t say that.. I know that when I’m feeling particularly poorly, there are some foods I definitely want to stay away from… like anything gas-causing (beans, onions, some veggies), salads, high acid (like oranges).
But, food is certainly an issue for all IBD sufferers. Even when I’m in an “off-food” period of time, I love to watch the food network, peruse recipe sites or cookbooks (with pictures!) and I will even take pictures of food I make so I can share and look at it later.
