First….. Wish I could say I have been feeling much better… I guess I have been, all things considered. I am not having the pain which was resulting from the abscess since it’s been drained. Instead, the main pain I’ve been having seems to be from a nerve in my right butt

Another CT Scan – Abscess Observation

I left the hospital early on Tuesday, against their wishes… and immediately got in contact with my Doctor.

Pain Management

I’ve had Crohn’s for only a short time, in comparison to many.. I started the painful symptoms in January 2007.  The first several months, I didn’t have pain medication to cope.  In hindsight, I wonder how I did manage, because the pain is just so terrible.

Diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease

At 37 years old, and an otherwise healthy wife and mom of 4, I was officially diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease.
Over all, it was simple to diagnose, it was just a matter of my not having insurance and suffering for several months before my body finally said, “Listen, you must do something and do it now!”.
